Surviving the End Times

You’ve probably heard of the end times. You’ve probably heard that the end times will be bad. One thing we know is that Yahweh is true. All He says is truth. Yahweh never lies.

So, if He says the end times are coming. Then, truthfully, the end times are coming. We can’t stop them from coming. They are sure to come.

What are the End Times?

So, what are the end times? Where do we get this term from?

Daniel 12:4 NKJV

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

So, I believe the term the “end times” comes from this verse.

Then there are verses like:

Matthew 24:3 ESV

As He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

The terms “end of the age”, “time of the end” or “end times” are all speaking of the same thing. So, they all have “end” in them. So, what is ending?

Does anyone know? Many of us keep saying we’re living in the end times. But, do we know what we mean? The end of what? Does anyone know?

Let’s look at this verse:

Revelation 11:15 ESV

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

In this verse what has come to an end? Anyone? Maybe, that’s not very clear.

Let’s look at another verse. I think it will be clearer in this verse:

Daniel 2:44 ESV

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,

So, what’s coming to an end?

The kingdoms of this world are coming to an end. This world system is coming to an end. The countries of this world, the politics of this world are coming to an end.

What’s going to replace it?

The Kingdom of Yahshua. When Yahshua comes to reign, things will not stay the same.

It doesn’t the mean the countries will disappear. It means they will no longer have independent power over themselves. The United States will no longer be a superpower with military bases all over the world.

There will be one kingdom that will rule them all. Yahshua will come to reign over all the earth and all countries will be subject to Him. He will rule with a rod of iron and He will rule with His Torah (Rev. 12:5, Isa. 2:3).

Yahshua’s kingdom also will never end. That means when He comes to rule, that’s it, He will rule forever. All these countries will no longer exist as independent powers. They will all bow down to Yahshua willingly or by force.

“Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Yahshua is Lord. (Phil. 2:10,11)

Knowing the Signs of the Times

Yahweh expects us to know the signs of the times. Yahshua reprimanded the Pharisees and the people of Jerusalem for not knowing the signs of the times.

The signs of the times are prophecies written in Scripture that are coming to pass.

Matthew 16 ESV

And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and to test him they asked him to show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’

3 And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.

4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So He left them and departed.

If the Pharisees and Sadducees were following Yahweh, they would have known who Yahshua was. They would have recognized Him.

They would have known the signs of the times. There had been many prophecies spoken about Yahshua that they should have recognized. But they failed to see the signs.

Luke 19:43,44 ESV

For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side

44 and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

Yahshua wept when He said this. Jerusalem did not recognize when Yahweh visited them. Yet this was prophesied in Zechariah.

Zechariah 9:9

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

Yahweh expects us to know the times. We are His workmanship here on the earth. He tells His workers what He is doing. In fact, because He tells us everything that we need to know, He calls us friends (John 15:15).

For example, many believers will quote verses like:

Matthew 24:36 ESV

"But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”

Or verses like this:

1 Thess. 5:2 ESV

For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

Believers will quote these verses. But, what about these verses.

Do they contradict the ones we just saw?

Amos 3:7 ESV

For the Lord Yahweh does nothing without revealing His secret to his servants the prophets.

John 15:15 ESV

No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

Maybe I’m stretching. But, the coming of Messiah is not such a mystery.

1 Thess. 5

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. 2 For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

3 While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

People read this and they are like that’s it, Yahshua is coming like a thief in the night. No one knows the day or the hour. He could come any time.

But, have you read the verses that follow immediately afterwards?

4 But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief.

That day is not supposed to catch us by surprise. We are not in darkness. We’re not living our own life so consumed with our jobs, or school, or just living that we are not aware of what’s going on.

5 For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. 6 So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.

So, we are awake. We are searching and seeking. But, it’s not a surprise. I mean think about the book of Revelation. Here is what we are told in the beginning of the book.

Revelation

3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

Then we are told later on:

17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.

Things which are to take place after this. We are expected to study prophecy and look at the times.

If you were living in Galilee or Jerusalem during Yahshua’s first coming would you have recognized Him as the Messiah? As Elohim? Or would you have said he’s just another rabbi, just another teacher?

We must study the Scriptures and look at what’s happening in the world to know the times.

What Happens During the End Times?

So, why do some people think we need to prepare for the end times? Are bad things supposed to happen?

Do you know that Dakarai has flown a plane before? Sister Denise one time asked if Dakarai could fly us somewhere when things get really bad.

Dakarai needs to put us in his plane and fly us somewhere out of here when things get bad!

We need a way to escape!

Other people think we need to start prepping. Let’s start storing food, and medicine, and guns, so that when things get really bad, we have resources to protect us.

Let’s store canned foods. Let’s buy a trailer, bury it in the ground and store food for us in a secret location.

Or let’s start our own sanctuary town. A place of refuge. A place to run to when the government comes against us! We need to prepare!!!!

But, are the end times really going to be that bad?

What do the Scriptures say?

Now, these are end time verses that a good number of us should know. I won’t prove that they are end time verses simply because we don’t have the time. We can talk about it later.

Matthew 24

3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 And Yahshua answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.

- Yahshua said many will come in His Name claiming to be the Messiah. Here is just a list of 9 people who have claimed to be the Messiah.

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.

- Here’s a list of only very few wars. There are so many more. Do the research with just a few clicks online and you’ll see.

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

- Here’s a very short list of famines and earthquakes. These are just the deadliest earthquakes. Earthquakes happen more often now. Every year now because the earth is desiring the coming of Yahshua. Thousands of earthquakes happen every year.

8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

- This is just the beginning.

But what people really fear is the Antichrist. The Anti-Messiah. The Beast. The man of lawlessness. The man whose name is 666 and what kind of world system he will control.

I did a series a few years ago called “Are We Living in the End Times?” It was quite detailed. In those videos I explain a lot of Bible prophecy.

So, what kind of man will this Anti-Messiah be?

Oh, Yahweh’s word is awesome. Isn’t it awesome! Yahweh is awesome!

Do you know that before Messiah Yahshua came, there were many types and shadows about Him that were given? A type and shadow of Messiah is a person whose life events reflect those of Yahshua Messiah.

For example, Joseph the son of Jacob. He was betrayed by his brothers like Yahshua would be but, he ended up being their savior, like Yahshua would be.

Or like Isaac, he willingly laid down his life to be sacrificed by his father Abraham just like Yahshua would be.

Do you know any other types and shadows of Yahshua?

There are many. They are all over the Scriptures because if you summarize the Bible into one word. What would call it? (Bible simply means a collection of books) What would you call it?

I would call it Yahshua. Yahweh’s Salvation. That’s what this book is about. That’s why Yahshua is called the Word.

No one has ever seen or heard Yahweh, the Father. Everything we know about salvation comes from this book so everything you’ve ever heard about salvation and everything that pertains to it is from Yahshua.

There are many types and shadows of Yahshua Messiah. Did you know that the Scriptures also show us types and shadows of the Anti-Messiah?

The Antichrist is a persecutor of Yahweh’s people particularly. He is a powerful government official able to pass laws. He is against Yahweh and Yahweh’s laws. Here are the examples:

We’re considering Jews here as Yahweh’s people. They are Yahweh’s people according to the flesh.

Not that Jewish people are righteous, but because Yahweh has kept the covenant He made with Abraham. He has been faithful even when they haven’t always been.

So, Yahweh has given us many examples. Three are in the Scriptures. Hitler is not. Well, let me not say he’s not. He’s not directly quoted like the others. But, I believe his rule and power are described in the Scriptures.

So, what will the second Antichrist be like?

Much worse!!!

Matt. 24:15-16 ESV

“So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Now people read this verse and they say when the abomination of desolation, that is when the Antichrist, desecrates the temple of Yahweh then we should flee to the mountains.

Is that what this verse says?

Are you in Judea? No, you’re not in Judea. You’re in Pittsburgh, in Allegheny County. It’s those who are in Judea who are supposed to flee.

The passage goes on to say that pray that your flight is not in the winter or on a Sabbath. We see here that in the future, those who believe in Yahshua are keeping the Sabbath day.

It also says how difficult it will be for pregnant women to flee. That’s for those in Judea, not in Pittsburgh.

Matt. 24

21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

There’s going to be a time of great tribulation for the saints of Yahweh. We need to rightly divide the Word of Truth.

When it says no flesh would be saved. I believe it means the believers. Because some people of the world will be going about their normal days.

They will be marrying and giving in marriage. Some will be grinding, and working, and Yahshua will appear in the sky.

In Revelation 12, you see a picture of a woman giving birth and a dragon tried to eat the child up. The woman is Israel, the child is Yahshua, and the dragon is Satan. Satan tried to kill Yahshua before His time and failed.

We saw that with Herod. Herod killed all the baby boys who were two years old and under in Bethlehem and surrounding areas to try and kill Yahshua (Matthew 2:16). That is what this passage is referring to.

The passage in Revelation also talks of Satan and his demons fighting Michael, the archangel, and the holy angels. Michael defeated Satan and Satan was then kicked out of Heaven.

Many people use this passage to refer to Satan being kicked out of Heaven in the beginning. This passage doesn’t refer to that. This passage is in the future. We know it’s in the future because it is this being kicked out of Heaven permanently that results in the great tribulation.

The passage says that no place was found for Satan in Heaven. If this was in the past, Satan wouldn’t appear before Yahweh with the other angels as he did in the time of Job (Job 1:1).

During the time of Yahshua, Satan asked permission to sift Peter like wheat. Satan had to have gone to Yahweh the Father to do that. Then Yahshua prayed for Peter.

So, this passage cannot be in the past.

In the future, Satan is going to go after Israel and try to destroy it. But Yahweh will protect Israel. This is going to make Satan furious. So, Satan will go after the saints.

Revelation 12:10-11 ESV

“And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. 11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.”

Revelation 12:12 ESV

“Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!"”

The short time referred to here is the 3.5 years of the tribulation. That is a very short time for someone like Satan who has lived thousands of years.

Revelation 12:13-14 ESV

“And when the dragon [Satan] saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman [Nation of Israel/Judah] who had given birth to the male child. 14 But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.”

Revelation 12:17 ESV

“Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yahshua. And he stood on the sand of the sea.”

This wrath of a Satan, this fury, is the beginning of the great tribulation, great trouble, for Yahweh’s people.

The next passage in Rev. 13 talks of a beast which receives power from Satan. That means Satan is going to possess this man, just like he Antiochus Epiphanes, Judas, and just like he did Hitler.

Then this man will be a powerful global political figure who is going to use his power to crush those who believe in Yahshua and keep His commandments.

So how do you survive all this persecution?

Should we buy planes, guns, and canned vegetables? Should we buy land and have a sanctuary city?

You could if you want, but let’s see what’s going to happen to the believers during this time.

Revelation 13:7 ESV

“Also it [the beast/Antichrist] was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation,”

The Antichrist will have more military power and capability than any guns you can come up with. He will have power over the majority of the world, he’ll go to war with us, and conquer us.

That’s what the Bible says. He will conquer us.

The passage also says:

Revelation 13:9-10 ESV

“If anyone has an ear, let him hear: 10 If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.”

If you could be locked up, you’re going to be locked up. If you could be killed, you’re going to be killed. It’s going to be a very difficult time for believers.

What does the prophet Daniel say?

Daniel 7:21 ESV

As I watched, this horn [Antichrist] was waging war against the saints and prevailing against them,

Daniel 7:25 ESV

He [Antichrist] will speak out against the Most High and oppress the saints of the Most High, intending to change the set times and laws, and the saints will be given into his hand for a time, and times, and half a time.

Given into his hand. That means he will have power over your flesh. It will be a very difficult time.

To get a perspective, see pictures of the Jewish holocaust, it will be like that but worse. Yahweh doesn’t lie. It will be much worse!

If it wasn’t shortened, all the saints will be wiped off the earth!

But that’s not how the story ends, is it…?

Revelation 7:9-10 NKJV

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

Revelation 7:13-15 NKJV

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”

14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”

So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

Wow! So, some of those saints who were conquered by the Antichrist, some of those saints who were persecuted, some of those saints who lived through the tribulation, made it through!

So, how did they do it?

Did they prep? Did they buy guns? Did they store food? Did they ask Dakarai to fly them to an island somewhere far?

The Scriptures tell us exactly what kind of people make it through the Great Tribulation.

Revelation 13:9-10 ESV

“If anyone has an ear, let him hear: 10 If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.”

Revelation 14:12 ESV

Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Yahshua.

Daniel 11:31-32 ESV

Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate. 32 He [Antichrist] shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God shall stand firm [be strong] and take action [do exploits].

And when talking about the end times and the great tribulation Yahshua said:

Matthew 24:13 ESV

13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

Endure: to remain firm under suffering or misfortune without yielding

What you need to be prepping is not guns, water, food, or land, it’s your faith and your endurance.

Yahweh already said the Antichrist will have power over most of the world and he will overpower the saints and crush them. You really think by prepping food, guns, water, and land, you’re going to escape this prophecy?

You don’t need to be prepping for those things.

If Yahweh is able to feed the birds of the air which neither sow nor reap, don’t you think He can feed you even if there was a law that said you can’t buy or sell, have a job or have a business, without the mark of the beast?

If He’s able to feed the birds, don’t you think He can feed you? Are you not worth more than a bird? O ye of little faith.

Know your God. Stand firm in the faith. That’s what you need to survive the great tribulation.

Yahweh keep you!
