Shalom saints! I hope Yahweh has been blessing you! Today, I thought we might talk about the Antichrist or Anti-messiah as others like to call him. So, who is this man and why does he feature so prominently in Scripture?
First, Antichrist refers to anyone who is against Christ, that is anyone who is against Yahshua and His righteousness, as antichrist.
1 John 2:18 (KJV) Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
Who is Antichrist? The apostle John defines that for us in verses 22 and 23.
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Yahshua is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
In verse 18, John said that Antichrist is coming. He is referring to a single person. That is who we are going to look at today because as we’ll see, this man will have a lot of influence in the world and he will have a lot of influence on believers too.
This is prophecy and we are told not to despise prophecy either from the Scriptures, which we should never do, or from believers like pastor Dana.
1 Thessalonians 5:20 – 21 (ESV)
20 Do not despise prophecies, 21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.
Which is what we did in the Bible Study. We looked at the dreams which pastor Dana saw, and we tested them to see if they line up with Scripture. So, who is Antichrist and why does he matter? Antichrist matters because he is the last and most powerful human enemy of believers before Messiah comes.
As we may see later, Antichrist does more damage to believers than anyone else! But Yahweh will uphold those who are strong in Him.
OK, now many people starting from Hitler, to Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and Barak Obama have been thought to be the Antichrist.
I think every United States president has been suggested as the Antichrist including Donald Trump.
But, we’re going to look at the Scriptures and see what we know so far about the Antichrist.
Because this is prophecy there are some things that are still being revealed to us.
The Antichrist is called by many names such as the lawless one, the man of sin, the son of destruction or perdition, the little horn, and the first beast.
We’re told to be watchful in the Scriptures. So, we should always be paying attention to what is happening and always have an expectant attitude about the coming of Messiah.
I believe He is coming sooner than most people think.
Now, right now we don’t know who the Antichrist is. But, the Scriptures say he will be revealed before Messiah comes.
2 Thessalonians 1 – 4 (ESV)
Now concerning the coming of our Lord Yahshua Messiah and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
So, this man of sin will oppose and exalt himself against every deity and proclaim himself to be God.
Now, this is the work of Satan.
9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
11 Therefore Elohim sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Because unbelievers of today have refused to believe the Gospel, Yahweh will send them, and I believe has already sent them, a strong delusion so that they will believe that the Antichrist is the Christ, Yahshua.
Now, when we looked at pastor Dana’s dreams, we saw that Yahshua showed him angels fighting.
That is significant. He said he saw many angels fighting. He saw many angels at war. So, let’s start there.
We’ll start there because the Scriptures talk about many angels fighting and that fighting leads straight to the revealing of Antichrist.
In fact if you read Revelation chapter 12 starting from verse 7, the Scriptures will lead you from angels fighting in Heaven to chapter 13:1, which starts to talk about the Antichrist and his kingdom.
So, let’s go to Revelation 12.
Revelation 12:7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back,
I believe this is what pastor Dana saw…
Amos 3:7 “For the Lord Yahweh does nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.
Back to the war in Heaven…
Revelation 12:8 but he [Satan] was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.
So, there’s war in heaven and Satan and the demons no longer have a place in heaven…
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Now some say this happened at the beginning, not too long after the creation of the earth, when Satan was kicked out of Heaven, but that’s not correct.
Yahshua told John was told to write about the things which he saw, the things which are, and the things which are to come.
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, 18 and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. 19Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.”
Rev. 4:1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
So, everything after Revelation chapter 4:1 takes place in the future from the time John was writing. So, the war in heaven could not have taken place when Satan was kicked out heaven.
Satan still had a place in heaven. He appeared before Yahweh in Heaven before he persecuted Job. That was way after Satan had been kicked out of Heaven.
But, this time Satan is banned from Heaven. He is banned from even entering Heaven.
Rev. 12:10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.
Remember, Satan accused Job before Yahweh so Satan still has access to Heaven…
Rev. 12:11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
OK, now let’s pay special attention to this verse.
Rev. 12:12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”
Satan knows his time is short because he has probably read the Scriptures. So, when he is thrown down, he is very angry. Through interpretation of Revelation 12 we learn that Satan will attack Israel and fail. Then Satan will attack the believers. How will Satan do that? He will do it through the Antichrist.
From Revelation 12, we move into Revelation 13. We see a beast rising out of the sea.
Revelation 13:1 – 2 (ESV) And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems [crowns] on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. 2 And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority.
Now, what does this beast mean?
Daniel saw these same animals, separately, and Daniel will tell us what these animals mean.
Daniel 7:17 ‘These four great beasts are four kings who shall arise out of the earth. Read Daniel 7 to get more detail. These animals are four kings, leaders, who shall arise out of the earth.
Each animal represents a nation. Now John sees these animals together because now they are operating as one.
Through these nations and their leaders Satan will persecute believers. But, there is one leader in particular who will be the leader of this group of nations. That leader is the Antichrist.
Satan possesses the Antichrist and uses him to persecute the saints of Yahweh.
Rev. 13:4 And they worshiped the dragon [Satan], for he had given his authority to the beast [antichrist], and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?”
In verse 5, the beast is spoken of as a man…
5 And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against Elohim, blaspheming His name and His dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation,
This making war against the saints is the great tribulation that Yahshua spoke about.
8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it [the beast], everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.
Now, we don’t have time to explain everything because this passage is very detailed. So, I’ll interpret some things for you, and you can look it up.
Later, we see that another beast rises. This beast who is a human being will perform miracles and deceive many people. He will cause people to worship the first beast.
This second beast is a religious figure. He looks holy, but he is not. It is this beast who will push forward for everyone to be marked in the right hand or forehead with the number of the beast: 666.
If you don’t have that number, you won’t be able to buy or sell.
Believers should never take that number. Taking that number will mean pledging allegiance and worshiping the Antichrist, which means worshiping Satan.
So, if pastor Dana saw the war in heaven described in Revelation 12, it means the things in Revelation 12 and 13, the Antichrist, the second beast – the false prophet, and Christian persecution, deception is sure to come upon us soon.
Also, in the one dream Yahshua said be prepared to see my face. So, look saints, to me these things seem to be lining up.
It’s time for the saints to be strong, to be shored up!
Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints. [Rev. 13:10]
So, are there people that look like the Antichrist today, right now?
Some of the qualification to be Antichrist are:
- Must come from the Holy Roman Empire – The Holy Roman Empire was named after the Roman Empire and was considered its continuation.
This is based in the medieval concept of translatio imperii. ... The Holy Roman Empire looked to Charlemagne, King of the Franks, as its founder, who had been crowned Emperor of the Romans on Christmas Day in 800 by Pope Leo III.
This came from a web site called TheHolyRomanEmpireAssociation.com.
--- Show and explain Nebuchadnezzar’s statue ---
Now, do you remember the ten horns on the beast in Revelation 13:1?
The ten horns and the ten toes mean the same thing: ten kings (rulers). We call them presidents or prime ministers today.
The Holy Roman Empire was dissolved during Napoleonic wars in 1806. But, it was rebirthed as the European Union. They still hold Charlemagne in high esteem.
So, the Antichrist must come from the reborn Holy Roman Empire, the European Union.
- Leader of a nation – The Antichrist must be a leader of a nation.
Daniel 8: 23 (KJV) And in the latter time of their kingdom [Greek Kingdom], when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power [Satan’s power]: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
- Ambition for dominance - He must have ambition for dominance
Daniel 8: 25 (KJV) And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
OK, these are just some of the qualifications.
Now, we love all our neighbors, but we ought to be watchful about those who are against Yahshua. We have to be vigilant against those who could be people prophesied about in the Word who are against Yahweh.
Being Antichrist is like being Judas. It’s a bad deal!
But the Scripture is true and all we can do is believe it and be prepared.
So, could this man be the Antichrist? Who knows who this is?
This is Emmanuel Macron, the president of France.
Does he come from the reborn Holy Roman Empire, the European Union? Yes!
He comes from France, which was the first country from which the first emperor of the Holy Roman Empire came from.
Is he the leader of a nation? Yes
Does he have ambition for dominance? Yes. He wants to change Europe.
But, there are some other things we see about Emmanuel Macron. Are these just coincidences?
- Emmanuel Macron has his plans for the peace agreement between Israel and Palestine…
Macron is very interested in the Israeli-Palestinian peace deal!
Daniel 9:27 (NKJV) Then he [Antichrist] shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation [end], which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”
I know some of these things may be hard to understand, but maybe we could do a Bible Study on this so we can fulfill because Daniel 11:33 says “And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.”
- Emmanuel Macron wants to build a ten-nation military group in Europe.
PARIS — Impatient with German foot-dragging on defense, French President Emmanuel Macron will bring together a 10-nation coalition of the willing next month designed to prepare European armed forces to take action together in emergencies, and to bind Britain into military cooperation as it leaves the EU. [From Politico.eu.com
It was the first time a country other than France organized a European Intervention Initiative event — let alone a major one — and the ten-member strong Initiative saw its first major enlargement with three new participants (Norway, Sweden, and Italy). [From warontherocks.com]
Doesn’t Daniel talk about 10 toes and 10 horns and one of the horns absorbs three?
So, in Nebuchadnezzar’s statue, Daniel explains that each metal in the statue represents a kingdom.
Down at the bottom of the statue we find ten toes. Five on each foot. The feet represent a kingdom that comes from the Roman Empire.
Each toe represents a king. How do we know that? Because the book of Daniel tells us that.
Daniel 2 (ESV)
In Daniel chapter 2, Daniel gives king Nebuchadnezzar the interpretation of the dream he had. He tells him that each part of the statue represents a king and its kingdom.
40 And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these.
41 And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay.
42 And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.
43 As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.
Now here is the punchline verse.
44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,
So, what does this mean? It means it is in the days of this 10-nation military group that comes from the Holy Roman Empire that Yahshua is coming!
- Emmanuel Macron is being hailed as the savior of Europe
Opinion: Is France's Emmanuel Macron the savior of Europe?
Emmanuel Macron is seeking to lay out a road map for the future of the European Union. The French president wants to make a name for himself as the savior of Europe but he cannot do it alone, says DW's Barbara Wesel.
- Emmanuel Macron comes from France, where Charlemagne, the first emperor of the Holy Roman empire came from.
This picture you see saints is a picture of the first beast and the second beast. The “Holy Father” is not holy. No one who knows Yahweh would become a Catholic pope or continue as pope!
- Emmanuel Macron said he would rule Europe like Jupiter
French president Emmanuel Macron has declared he will govern France like Jupiter, the Roman king of the gods, shortly after officials told the media his thought process was “too complex” for journalists to understand.
He says he wants to rule as a “Jupiter” operating above the political maelstrom as he delivers thunderbolt judgments and instructions.
Jupiter is the king of the gods in Roman mythology. Is that how Macron sees himself?
Maybe it’s just political talk. I don’t know. But, there are so many coincidences…
- When Emmanuel Macron got elected, he won the presidency with a percentage of 66.06.
Macron wins the French presidency with 66.06 percent of the votes
66.06 % of votes. So, that like 66 and 6?
- Oh “Emmanuel” – what does that mean?
“Elohim with us” God with us!
Is all this just coincidence?
- What about “Macron” – what does that mean?
Macron refers to a mark used in languages.
Revelation 13:16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.
18 This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.
Look, I’m not pulling strings here. Research these things for yourself.
May Yahweh bless you and keep you! May you be found faithful in Him.
