The Day of Atonement
Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is considered the Highest of the High Sabbaths. It is a solemn day that looks at the atoning sacrifice of Messiah Yahshua. On this day we are reminded that sin was and can only be atoned for Yahshua. No one else was involved and can be involved in the blotting out of sin from human lives.
On this day we fast for the whole day from sunset to sunset.
In 2017, Yom Kippur will be observed on October 1st.
